![]() Wine of the Week | la viña escondida 2020 [Red] 100% garnacha ecologically grown on 90 year old vines in a vineyard perched on a rocky granite knoll in the Sierra de Gredos. Hand selected in the vineyard, lightly stomped in small vats, transferred to a 2,000 liter French oak tank, nurtured for 18 months. Packed with multiple aromas: dark berries/plums, hillside herbs & flowers, tarragon, cinnamon bark with hints of stony minerals. We wrote up the 2018 vintage last year, the 2020 is certainly on a par.
