Pueblo de Lavia 2021 [Red]
Producer: Bodegas Lavia
Region: DO Bullas

100% monastrell, vines 50+ years old, organically grown on stony limestone & clay soils. (Vino de Pueblo). Nurtured 9 months in French in oak barrels.

Pale cherry red color, lively red berry fruit aromas, gently spiced.
Smooth tactile tannins. Fresh, elegant fruit driven finish. Very nice bottle of wine, terrific value.
Certified organic and a different take on monastrell: less color, medium body, really fresh & bright.

Bodegas Lavia is part of the MGWines group.

A note to our readers:
I've used SRP, which is the normal price in Spain expressed in US dollars [Low=$5-9, Medium=$10-18, High=$19+]. The wines selected are usually moderately priced and generally exported around the world. Some exceptions happen...
